Holding national accreditations and a steady graduate employability rate of 93% to 96% consistently over the past 10 years, the University of Northampton makes taking your big, life-changing decision of studying overseas considerably easier and much more pleasant. This blog is a complete guide to all the programs offered by the University of Northampton this academic year, popular scholarships and financial aid for Indian students and the course-based entry requirements.
In The Heart Of The City
Northampton sits at the heart of England. International students find themselves just an hour away from major cities like London, Birmingham, Oxford and Cambridge, accessible by rail. Northampton University is also centrally located with five international airports, all of which are easily accessible from the city. Therefore, however far you may have come from, there is always a flight back home. Beyond connectivity by air and rail, it is notable that Northampton city itself is an important industrial and financial center in England. The University's campus named the ‘Waterside Campus’ is just a 5 to 10 minute walk from the town centre.
The Waterside Campus hosts infrastructure that was built with the student in mind. Some key academic facilities available for student use include program-driven state-of-the-art science labs, computing and gaming suites, a rehearsal studio and even a recording suite for television and radio production. Beyond academics, the campus houses on-site accommodation, a mini market, a post office, a launderette, a multi-faith centre, a health centre and several restaurants and cafés. Key spaces like the Creative Hub, Learning Hub, The Engine Shed, Sports Dome and the internationally recognised Institute for Creative Leather Technologies all sit within the same campus, so students spend considerably less time on the commute and are instead able to channelize their time and focus into what matters most for them: academics, co-curricular activities, a personal project or even a team undertaking.
